2013: The Year In Review
Ok, I totally stole this from a friend on facebook who posted it and thought it'd be neat to do it myself. Feel free to copy this and do it, too! ^_^

1. What did you do in 2013 that you'd never done before?

This is quite random and insignificant but in 2013 I began eating marshmallow peeps. From childhood til this current year I had a slight loathing for peeps. I didn't like the taste, texture and didn't enjoy eating marshmallows without cause ie: drinking hot cocoa, yams etc... But for some reason around Halloween, Christmas and now that the Valentine's candy is coming out, I've developed a slight comfort in peeps. I will admit, I like them. I don't think I could sit and eat a ton of them in one go. But I can eat a few here and there.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I forget what my NYR was for 2013. But I'm 99% sure I did not complete it or follow through.
I'm a rebel like that. :3 I do have some resolutions for this year that I really want to plow through and accomplish.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

OMG yes. I cannot tell you how many people in my life are pregnant, just had a baby or plan on having more babies.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

I wouldn't exactly call this person "close" but a kid that worked at my work place committed suicide about 2 weeks ago. It was really hard on all of the employees overall, but I think it was even harder for the employees who went to high school with him and saw him on a daily basis. I didn't know the kid very well. But I know who he is, what his name is, what his plans were and what kind of person he was around work and his friends. Rest in peace Mark Kaylor. <3

5. What countries did you visit?

I didn't visit any countries this year but I have been to England in 2009. It was a great experience and I strongly encourage everyone to travel abroad if they ever get the opportunity!

6. What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013?

More social events. I tend to be a hermit but there are small peaks in my life where I just want to go out and do things! So this year I wanna do more things. :3

7. What date from 2013 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

There really hasn't been a particular day in 2013 that stands out to me.  In fact, I think I cast most things aside and wash them away from my memory. Or I reflect on what happened several years after they happen. Everything that has been etched in my memory has happened long before 2013 ever occurred. But perhaps in 2020 whatever happened in 2013 maybe wash back up to me.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

I would have to say scoring a 99.5% on my annual PFMA at work.
It's a big deal and getting a score like that is a nice accomplishment.

9. What was your biggest failure?

Probably almost breaking up with my boyfriend. Every relationship has its ups and downs and being in a situation where you almost break up is one of the most stressful things in the world. Fortunately we worked out the kinks and everything is good again!

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Yes. A few months ago I fell down the stairs of my house. This resulted in a bad back injury and later on a foot injury. I naturally walk with a limp because one leg is shorter than the other due to an issue with one of the disks in my spine. So to have this happen on top of that was really unfortunate and it's still affecting me to this day and possibly my whole life. I didn't have a serious injury, but there was bruising and I still suffer from discomfort, lack of sleep, and pinched nerves etc... I can't twist my back or do certain movements anymore.

11. What was the best thing you bought?

Probably the Nintendo 3DS, Samsung Galaxy 10.1 2014 Edition. Everything else I've bought recently were just clothes, odds and ends, food etc...

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

I can't really say I celebrated anything based off of ones behavior. o3o;

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

That kid who killed 4 people while drunk driving underage and paid his way out of severe punishment.
What a dick.

14. Where did most of your money go?

Bills, sushi, video games, fake currency online via games.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

In terms of games, I'm really excited for Elder Scrolls Online, WoW: Warlords of Draenor. :3

16. What song will always remind you of 2013?

Ylvis - The Fox
WHAT DOES IT SAY????

 17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier? Yes. I'm happier.
ii thinner or fatter? Fatter, fer sure. #food.
iii richer or poorer? Richer, fer sure.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?

Saving money for important things.
Perhaps exercising and getting into shape.
Expanding my horizons and experiencing more. I'm such a hermit.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?

Feeling tired all the time.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?

I spent Christmas at home with my boyfriends family.
Then that following Saturday I went to my mothers house. :)

No, I've been in love since 2009. ;D

23. How many one-night stands?

None.

Hmm. Once Upon A Time, The Walking Dead, Merlin, More Charming By The Day, Futurama, Family Guy, American Dad, Colbert Report, Daily Show W/ Jon Stewart, errr.. yea. :3

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?

I hate a lot of champions on League of Legends.

26. What was the best book you read?

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

I turned 23 on my birthday and I went out to eat with my family.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

If I could get over my fear of driving and such. Which is what my NYR 2014 is.
To start driving and such.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?

Work uniform all day every day. If I'm not in my work uniform, I'm in pajamas, lounge clothes or naked. Sums it up. I generally dress casual/quirky. I like band t-shirts, jeans and comfy shoes. I like to mix colors together. Sometimes I compliment colors and other times I like a bit of a contrast. Depends on my mood, where I'm going, etc...

34. What kept you sane?

The internet. <3

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

Robert Downey Jr. He is an excellent Iron Man, Sherlock Holmes etc... <3

36. What political issue stirred you the most?

Gay Marriage. Just let them do it, seriously. What 2 guys or 2 girls do in the privacy of their own bedroom has no effect on you or me, so why ruin their party? Get over it.

37. Who did you miss?

I miss my grandfather. I miss my friend Adam.

38. Who was the best new person you met?

Hmm, of all of the people I've met this year. I'd have to say my friend Ryan.
We haven't known each other too long. But he's pretty awesome. ;D

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2013:

The most valuable lesson I've learned this year is that no matter how long you're in a relationship for there always needs to be tension. If you are too relaxed in a relationship, the relationship will dull and get boring and it might not last long. Be willing to make sacrifices, try new things, experiment and re-discover who you are and who the person you fell in love with is. If you aren't arguing, it's not love! I've learned that I must take it upon myself to show more consideration and interest in the person I love. It's a two way street. Both parties must put forth something for each other to absorb.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:

"I'd rather have one night, than nothing forever.
Yeah it would alright with me, it's now or never."
